"Two Worlds II" (oil on canvas) by Jessica Bentley, Artist |
My first thought when facing a tough season has often been a question which is probably asked often by many people, "What's the fastest way to get through these seasons?"
Perhaps the question of what's the BEST way out is what we should be asking. What about the lessons we learn in the journey? What about the strength & confidence we gather when we are successful at making it through a particularly rough season? So what IS the best way to get beyond the tough times in life? Robert Frost has a great quote about the best way to handle life's challenges:
"The best way out is always through." ~ Robert Frost

I read your blog all the time but from my Kindle and I can never comment! So today, I'm on my big-girl computer and wanted to give you a hearty "YOU DID IT!" Your graphics are always so darn good. One of my dearest friends lives in Paragon, are you near there?
ReplyDeleteThanks Susan. It was SO HARD to read as many of the posts as I wanted to but, I enjoyed yours :) Paragon is approx 2 hours southwest of us. It's in a beautiful part of Indiana too!! I enjoyed writing & came up with TONS of ideas & "starts" for posts. It was a great year!!
DeleteThe best way out is always through ... love that!
ReplyDeleteMe too Melissa... a wonderful lesson!!
DeleteA beautiful pairing :). It's so easy to create a bigger mess when we strive to find the easy way out rather than taking the journey through!
