Do you ever feel STUCK? In 2000, I began looking for answers to some tough questions in my life. I'd searched high & low and finally conceded to search the promises found in the Bible. Those promises have sustained & guided me through the loss of a parent, the struggle with anxiety & depression, the loss of a valued relationship and so much more! I've found joy amid the pain. And, I want to share it with you!

2015 September 2of3 ONE THOUSAND GIFTS

I took the 1,000 Gifts Dare for the year of 2012... continued in 2013... and 2014! Now, I'm into 2015 :) GOD IS FULL OF BLESSINGS...

Fri 9/11
3931. reminders of a day that changed our world
3932. fresh garden tomatoes - even when you eat a little too much
3933. pretty bugs - not so fond of creepy ones

Sat 9/12
3934. cool, autumn-like temps -- that made outside work so less agonizing 
3935. our only hydrangea this year -- I must've done something wrong last fall ??
3936. eggs for dinner after an 8+ hour work day outside

 Sun 9/13
3937. first Sunday with the Stroziers at MPC
3938. leaf bugs, abandoned bird nests, chainsaws, Little Giant ladders, pruning tools & sore muscles
3939. working outside until the chickens put themselves to bed

Mon 9/14
3940. new chip & seal on our country road
3941. a different walkabout path
3942. roast & potatoes with garden carrots & onions 

Tues 9/15
3943. conversations about heaven 
3944. staring up at clouds
3945. a comfortable bed - so many don't even have a bed

 Wed 9/16
(hmmmmmm.. it's a no pic Wednesday!?!?!)
3946. thoughts of how thankful I am that I don't get what I deserve in life... I'm blessed beyond measure 
3947. working outside for hours without hearing another human-made sound - aside from my moaning from me being all worn out - ha ha!
3948. a spouse who grills & a Little who  loves most foods :)

3950. sharing my love for nature
3951. dinner out "Panda Food" with my girls -- daughter & glam-daughter

3952. the Little dressing up for "Talk Like A Pirate Day" at pre-school

3953. the gift of vision - A HUGE BLESSING FOR ME!
3954. sleeping on a couch (at my mom's house; just thankful to be there)

 Sat 9/19
3955. the contagious joy of a little one
3956. making memories with four generations
3957. one of these eggs is not like the others

Sun 9/20
3958. watching my friends nurture my daughter & my granddaughter at MPC
3959. BIG workday with the LOML - so worn out that I can hardly walk :)
3960. the close of a good day
