Do you ever feel STUCK? In 2000, I began looking for answers to some tough questions in my life. I'd searched high & low and finally conceded to search the promises found in the Bible. Those promises have sustained & guided me through the loss of a parent, the struggle with anxiety & depression, the loss of a valued relationship and so much more! I've found joy amid the pain. And, I want to share it with you!

2015 September 1of3 ONE THOUSAND GIFTS

I took the 1,000 Gifts Dare for the year of 2012... continued in 2013... and 2014! Now, I'm into 2015 :) GOD IS FULL OF BLESSINGS...

3901. feeling like doing some housework - not always my first choice

3904. an awesome friend who's an awesome photographer -- a pairing

3905. getting the page ready for the holiday weekend
3906. getting all the laundry done before heading out of town for the weekend

3908. "wallermelon" & a pool party (that's what the Little calls it!!)

3921. small celebrations after a busy weekend - hot dogs on the grill, pop corn & a Disney movie with the Little

3925. the Facebook page is celebrating being ONE YEAR OLD!!

3928. introducing the inside fur baby to the backyard ladies
3929. pretty muck boots and an ugly jean jumper - my favorite outfit these days
3930. ending a really long, hard work day with a little drive around the neighborhood

    Love the way you do your 1000 Gifts!! It's so concise, yet very full of the gifts with the photos included! Mine sometimes gets over-whelming and cumbersome, with so much written; and other days is comes very easily...But, I continue to do it this way; at least for the year...I may change in January and do less; or I may continue for the full year, which would end in March; then start again and do less...not sure!

    So, the numbers beside each gift...is that an accumulative total since you've been doing this since 2012?? I've often wondered that...

      Thanks Barb :) In an effort to not make the assignment too overwhelming for me, I chose to keep the descriptions simple. I knew the pics would help me remember the details of the blessing. I often will go back & write a separate post about an individual blessing - giving more information to those who might want to know. YES... Today's blessings will be the 3,940th, 3,941st & 3,942nd I've noted since beginning in January of 2012. WHAT A BLESSING TO LOOK BACK ON THEM! Thanks for your faithful friendship & support. Many blessings to you today!!
