Do you ever feel STUCK? In 2000, I began looking for answers to some tough questions in my life. I'd searched high & low and finally conceded to search the promises found in the Bible. Those promises have sustained & guided me through the loss of a parent, the struggle with anxiety & depression, the loss of a valued relationship and so much more! I've found joy amid the pain. And, I want to share it with you!

2016 September 1 of 3 ONE THOUSAND GIFTS

Three Gifts A Day: SEPTEMBER 2016

I took the 1,000 Gifts Dare for the year of 2012... continued in 2013... and 2014... and 2015. Going to hit 5,000 in 2016!!! GOD IS FULL OF BLESSINGS...
Thurs 9-1
4999 garden work, pool work, sunflowers & chickens, weeds, lost contacts, pruning, laundry, packing, Tractor Supply Company, etc. 
5000 when time stands still!! 
5001 an excited Little at our new Kentucky apartment 

 Fri 9-2
5002 introducing the Little to the President at UPike

5003 a new trundle bed
5004 a hubby who's willing to tell our hotel that it's sub-standard 

 Sat 9-3
5005 getting back together with our Palmetto Softball Tourney family and fun family time with the girls
5006 playing office and a new hotel room ... well after being sent to an occupied room
5007 pop corn, snacks & movie time with daughter after the Little fell asleep 

Sun 9-4
5008 starting off the day in worship with all the teams in the tournament
5009 lots & lots of softball and lots & lots of family time

Mon 9-5 LABOR DAY - driving most of the day
5011 a happy for my sister-in-love
5012 gorgeous scenic overlook and a brave little one 
5013 empty-nesting in our apartment 

 Tues 9-6
5014 mountains of laundry and a small apartment to clean
5015 a quiet day at the apartment
5016 walking to dinner with the LOML

 Wed 9-7
5017 renters insurance - check!!
5018 floating in the pool with my UPike girlfriends
5019 dinner with the KYCO Design Team
Thurs 9-8
5020 beginning the day with coffee with the LOML in our tiny Kentucky apartment
5021 Great Uncle John's round barn - reminders of family at the KY apt
5022 bacon & eggs for dinner

 Fri 9-9
5023 sharing OJ with the LOML
5024 listening to Gaither songs all day while working on a long To Do List
5025 making it back to IN early enough to see... an excited Little over her new toothbrush -- electric 

 Sat 9-10
5026 the week's haul  - while the LOML and I were in KY
5027 finally collecting tomatoes by the baskets
5028 dear friends who will always be near & dear - even when we are far in distance // dinner at Bonge's with K&K
