Do you ever feel STUCK? In 2000, I began looking for answers to some tough questions in my life. I'd searched high & low and finally conceded to search the promises found in the Bible. Those promises have sustained & guided me through the loss of a parent, the struggle with anxiety & depression, the loss of a valued relationship and so much more! I've found joy amid the pain. And, I want to share it with you!

2016 April 2 of 3 ONE THOUSAND GIFTS

Three Gifts A Day: APRIL 2016

Based on the book, One Thousand Gifts, (by Ann Voskamp) #1000Gifts #JoyDare
I took the 1,000 Gifts Dare for the year of 2012... continued in 2013... and 2014... and 2015. Going to hit 5,000 in 2016!!! GOD IS FULL OF BLESSINGS...

Mon 4-11
4570 eating "chocolate coffee grinds" - per the Little
4571 de-cluttering the closets
4572 country sunsets
Tues 4-12
4573 Father Gregory has more "pretty little yellow flowers" than we do :)
4574 some of my favorite lichens :)
4575 the runt & my little friend... Rachel sitting on my foot to sun herself!
Wed 4-13 killer chore day w/close to 20,000 steps :)
4576 chicken piles - sunning time = 3:15pm
4577 toads... that make me scream!!
4578 closing out the night sitting by the fire w/loved ones!!!
Thurs 4-14
4579 a day full of jet trails from sunrise on...
4580 walking by a neighbor's property that's been in the family for over 150 years
4581 throwing more things on yesterday's fire - my mind is going "blog post" on those 5 words

 Fri 4-15
4582 this is NOT Tax Day this year :)
4583 third day working hard outside & keeping the fire going (see 4581 & 4578)
4584 taking a "nap" at 8pm... which might have lasted until 8am the next morning

 Sat 4-16
4585 shaving my legs outside - bahahahaha!
       (NO PIC PROVIDED!)
4586 Abigail & I helping with the brakes on the grocery-getter
4587 cleaning gutters - well, the view from up high
Sun 4-17
4588 Father Gregory still winning the "pretty little yellow flowers" contest
4589 looking out the kitchen window & catching a glimpse of 2 of my favorite people relaxing in camp chairs just outside the barn door
4590 hand-me-down swing sets & an amazing Little!!!
Mon 4-18
4591 a gift I received and have loved for 20 years
4592 a few of my favorite things
4593 sitting outside with the family at the end of the day

4594 the time of year when everything goes POP!!

4595 friends who feel like family!
4596 taking the long way home :)

4597 morning walkabouts with my neighbor/friend

      I can't seem to control screaming when I am startled. And, I was certainly NOT expecting to pull up a huge toad with a clump of weeds!!
