Just a glimpse of me...

My photo
Do you ever feel STUCK? In 2000, I began looking for answers to some tough questions in my life. I'd searched high & low and finally conceded to search the promises found in the Bible. Those promises have sustained & guided me through the loss of a parent, the struggle with anxiety & depression, the loss of a valued relationship and so much more! I've found joy amid the pain. And, I want to share it with you!

Just ONE of My Obsessions

Posting today with my #survivorsisterhood family

I am obsessed with capturing beautiful and/or unique things, places and people in a picture. I'm completely picky about the angle of the photo, the lighting, the composition & balance of the photo... and the list goes on. If I ask you to take a picture with me in it, get ready to hear
exactly HOW I want you to do it.

This morning, just as I saw the prompt to share a post with my survivor sisterhood friend pop up on my laptop, the pine tree grove on the west of our property exploded in the most glorious brightness and color. And, I flew out the back door (in my jammies & robe) to get a picture or two of SUNRISE. There's just something about the promise of new & good things in the sunrise.

And, THIS would be why I never have any
available MEMORY on my phone!!

Taking pictures, looking at pictures, sharing pictures, pairing pictures... just ONE of my obsessions :) SUNRISE... a big obsession :)

The progression of this morning's sunrise...

  1. No worries about missing the prompt. Beautiful sunrise photos. God often surprises us with the most beautiful of sunrise age sunsets.

    1. Thanks for the grace Tara. I'm a bit of an airhead. BUT, I did enjoy writing that day. The prompt to write is what got me going. I just didn't notice the SURPRISE writing prompt :)
