'Tis four days before Christmas and all through the house... not a creature was stirring... we hope NOT a mouse!!! There I sat in my jammies planning my day... scheduling my posts, wondering just what to say...
I could go on but, I won't bore you :)
This, for so many of us, is an extremely blessed and yet, busy time of year. I don't have time to write... or do I... just a few words.
For me, I am indescribably thankful for the GIFT I received long ago when the Word became Flesh and dwelt among US!
Have a blessed day friends. Here's the song that started my church for this morning...
This, for so many of us, is an extremely blessed and yet, busy time of year. I don't have time to write... or do I... just a few words.
Yesterday was celebrated as Christmas Sunday at our church. We were blessed to attend with both of our children (now young adults), our beloved daughter-in-law of almost 6 months, and our ever-changing, ever-entertaining almost three-year-old granddaughter. In addition, we were blessed that it was an "Orchestra Sunday". Our "Colorado kids" are both performance majors & now working on their Masters Degrees in Boulder, Colorado as Grad Assistants. We got to hear them play in our local church orchestra & then got to sit beside them for the sermon.
The service yesterday was full of JOY, PEACE, BLESSINGS... and more. There were times when I could not help but rise to my feet & lift my hands in awe of our Lord... the Savior of the World who came to us in the form of a tiny baby. It was a great day.
And, then MONDAY hit... you know, when we all go back to our jobs - whether they be in a corporate office, in a day care, in a home, in a chicken coop, etc.
But, this morning the Gaithers changed all of that for me when I searched YouTube for a link to a Christmas song to post this week on the When You're STUCKinindiana Facebook Page and landed on a stream of videos produced by the Gaithers. This morning while I sat in my jammies, sipping coffee and finishing the last of the scheduled postings for the Christmas week...

I went to church in my jammies! And, I just had to share that with you!!For those who share my beliefs, you get that, right? For those who don't share those same beliefs, you are loved deeply. May you find deep joy & inner peace also in your days.
For me, I am indescribably thankful for the GIFT I received long ago when the Word became Flesh and dwelt among US!
